In February, strong progress continued at Tydal Sands, with the Level 9 slab structure completed and formwork for Level 10 now underway as the project approaches its top-out milestone. At Tydal Oceana, momentum has also accelerated, with the tower crane installed and Basement 2 structural works, including columns and lift core, now complete as foundation works advance.

Traders In Purple is pleased to share the latest updates on both Tydal Sands and Tydal Oceana projects.

Tydal Sands Stage One

In February, the construction team completed the structure of Level 9 slab. Formwork for the Level 10 slab is underway and then only the roof structure remains. The top floor slab is anticipated to be poured, with the structure reaching “top out” by Easter.

Working our way up the building, cabinetry and internal flooring install and services fit off is complete on Level 1 and underway on Level 2. On Level 3, waterproofing is complete, with tiling commenced. On Level 4, internal sheeting is complete. On Level 5, internal wall frames and services rough-in is complete. On Level 6, firewalls are complete with internal framing underway. On Level 7, high level services and internal wall set out is complete. On Level 8, perimeter block walls are complete with glazing sub framing underway.

Looking ahead to March, Level 10 slab will be poured and fit out out and services will further progress up the building.

Tydal Oceana Stage Two

The crane installation occurred on site in late February. Foundation works are progressing well with Basement 2 columns and lift core complete. Basement stair cores are being constructed, and the on-ground slab will be poured this month. Stormwater civil works are also complete. Once Basement 2 slab pours are complete, Basement 1 formwork will follow.

Looking ahead to March, basement slab pours will continue, marking a major step forward in the building’s structural works.
