November 25 Construction Update

In November, significant progress was made on Tydal Sands, with the Level 6 slabs completed and Level 7 formwork now underway, while bulk excavations for Basement 1 were also completed at Tydal Oceana.

Traders In Purple is pleased to share the latest updates on both Tydal Sands and Tydal Oceana projects.

Tydal Sands Stage One
In November, significant progress was made on Tydal Sands, with the Level 6 slabs completed and Level 7 formwork now underway. On Level 1, the courtyard apartments are beginning to take shape, with services rough-in progressing, internal framing finished, and the joinery site measure complete, ready for install in the New Year. Level 2 saw the installation of glazing suites, with internal set-out now complete. On Level 3, high-level services were finished, and blockwork walls were completed up to Level 4.

Looking ahead to December, we’re set to pour the Level 7 slabs, and Form, Reinforce, Pour (FRP) columns along with lift and stair cores will begin for Levels 7-8. Work will continue with blockwork walls, high-level services, glazing suite installation, and internal framing moving upwards through the building.

Tydal Oceana Stage Two
Over at Tydal Oceana, bulk excavations for Basement 1 were completed in November, and excavation work has now moved onto Basement 2. Shotcrete walls were completed for Basement 1 and work has commenced on the walls for Basement 2.

In December, we anticipate completing the bulk excavations, with shotcrete walls nearing completion for Basement 2. Additionally, footings for Basement 2 will begin.
